Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni's eldest son has said he wishes former President Uhuru Kenyatta stood for a third term. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the commander of the Uganda People's Defence Force (UPDF), said the former head of state would have easily won the contest. Uhuru retired at the end of his second term in tandem with the Constitution which caps presidential term limit at ten years. But as if to mock Kenya for its fidelity to the Constitution on the presidential term limit, Muhoozi laughed off the idea saying, "you must be joking". The army commander has a penchant for posting warning messages on social media targeted at perceived Uganda's 'enemies'.
