The ABU chapter Chairman of the ASUU, Prof. Rabiu Nasiru, made this known to The PUNCH in Kaduna on Monday. However, he acknowledged that the lecturers in the institute had received their January salary, reiterating that the issue of members enrolling in the IPPIS was forgone. This, he noted, was because the IPPIS was not transparent, adding that the issue was brought to the fore to distract ASUU from other pending matters with the government. Nasir said, “We have received our January salary but you know we have quite a number of issues with the Federal Government. “We are not going to register for the IPPIS if given the grace by the FG.
