Jean Mensa said the Commission which has the mandate to ensure fairness during any voting processes will not hesitate to bring culprits to book when they are caught. Meanwhile, the EC has said the videos were put out there to “discredit” the referendum and the “integrity” of the Commission. “That is why we are hoping that the security agencies to whom the issues have been refered will expedite action on them to put the matter to rest.” The EC indicated. Jean Mensa says the EC has an integrity to protect adding that her outfit has had some damage to its credibility and “we do not condone in any terms acts that will seek to mare and so we are working very hard to restore any damage that has been done to the integrity of the EC.”
