More than 90 million people globally have been infected by the SARS-Cov-2 virus, which causes Covid-19. Multiple Covid-19 variants are circulating in the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Canada and South Africa. Given the virus variants, we need to embark on updating or tweaking Covid-19 vaccines immediately, just as we do for influenza.
