Oladimeji RamonThe Arewa Community in Lagos State, an umbrella body of Hausas living in Lagos, on Wednesday declared support for the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu. In a chat with The PUNCH, the Chairman, Arewa Community in Lagos State, Alhaji Muhammadu Dandamayabo, said it was natural for the Hausa community to back Sanwo-Olu, having been put forward by the APC national leader and former Lagos State governor, Bola Tinubu. Dandamayabo said Tinubu had the loyalty of the Arewa community, noting that they had been following him since the days of the Alliance for Democracy. We, members of the Arewa Community in Lagos State, are Asiwaju’s followers. I am a Fulani, Buhari is a Fulani and Atiku is a Fulani as well; but we don’t reckon with Atiku.
