The reaction of TMA follows calls by residents that they are been engulfed in greywaters and faecal residues which spill into their homes due to a total breakdown of the central sewage system in the area. Since the drainage system were first constructed, there has been no expansion on the facility. Now, Tema has a population of 360,000 but we are still depending on the same system. “The assembly has tried to work with other partners and has to do a total rehabilitation of the system.
