It was freezing cold at 4am this morning, as thousands of people made their way to various locations around the country for this year's Darkness Into Light event for Pieta House. Here’s a pic of the thousands taking part in the Darkness Into Light Phoenix Park event. Darkness Into Light is Pieta House's biggest annual fundraiser. It costs €1,000 to bring a person through a full suite of life-saving therapy at Pieta House. It was a poignant moment as we all remembered the reason we had gathered: to help Pieta House to guide people at risk from their own darknesses into the light.
