Companies were questioned at Westminster yesterday by the Scottish affairs committee, which has been investigating broadband and mobile network coverage over concerns that Scotland is lagging behind the UK in both areas. The committee has already heard from a range of business organisations who suggested that the poor connectivity, particularly in rural areas, was hampering economic growth.
