He had the backing of several club legends including Thierry Henry but has confirmed that the Kroenkes have rejected his offer. Ek said on Twitter: "Inaccurate reports emerged today saying I have not made a bid for Arsenal Football Club. Daniel is an Arsenal fan, he didn't say it for any publicity. He is an Arsenal fan for a very long time.
