Photo: SuppliedSince then, Hamilton's family have received an outpouring of support from people who were touched by the teacher's infectious enthusiasm and passion for learning. It was so entwined with her character that Westmere School pupils dressed in purple on Friday to commemorate her. Westmere School principal Teresa Burn said Hamilton's sudden passing had sent a "shock wave" through the school community.
