Karthik, who was working in Bengaluru at the time, frequented — and not by choice — many potholes during his daily commute. Then Karthik moved to Hyderabad in June last year, and he wanted to get more active in this area. He got in touch with an emulsion-selling company based in Bengaluru; the contact continued when Karthik moved to Hyderabad. They did a demo on pothole fixing after which he purchased materials for ₹2,000. We’ve seen Bhoomi Foundation and an impressive number of school groups partake in similar facelifts for the city.
