The fact is Canadians have become dangerously complacent about getting their children vaccinated. But in Canada rates differ tremendously across the country. In Manitoba, for example, vaccination rates for two-year-olds are at an alarmingly low 66 per cent. The federal government should establish a national vaccination registry that would alert health officials to pockets of the country with dangerously low vaccination rates.
