Arron Banks, the former donor who quit the party in March, made the accusation against Ukip earlier this week and said he did not “approve of the war on Muslim religion”. Mr Nuttall, however, has insisted that the policy would only bring the UK more in line with other countries such as France and Belgium. “We are not at war with Muslims,” he told the BBC Radio 4 Today programme. “What we want to see is equality, we want to see integration.
