Speaking on The Point of View on Monday, Mr. Sowah said: “Even if we have the best of drains, all the water end up in the Odaw and Korle lagoon, so if the Korle lagoon is not dredged, we will have some difficulties. Indeed we have commenced dredging of the Korle [lagoon]. It started last week.”“Admittedly there are challenges in the system but we are dealing with them systematically. NADMO said about four people lost their lives last Sunday during the flooding in parts of the Accra.
