Machakos Deputy Governor Bernard Kiala has said there will be nominations on April 25 to determine who between him and former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti gets the Wiper ticket for Machakos governor. He asked Wavinya to stop misleading party members that there will be no nominations for the position. “There will be nominations for the position of governor to produce a Wiper candidate in readiness for [the] August 8 election,” Kiala said. Kiala said Wiper must respect its constitution. Wiper must conduct nominations in areas where there are more than one candidate or where people have failed to agree on working together,” he said.
