Wayne Rooney and Fara Williams are set to be honoured by receiving this year's Legends of Football awards. The former England stars, who won 297 international caps between them, will be inducted into the Legends of Football Hall of Fame in October following last year's winners Ian Wright and Emma Hayes. Rooney and Williams have been chosen as dual award winners to recognise their commitment to playing for their country. 'I'm delighted to receive the Legends of Football award,' Rooney said. Legends of Football will honour Fara Williams and Wayne Rooney at a star-studded event on 7th October 2024 at Grosvenor House, London.
