A coffee morning held in Eye has highlighted the issue that parents of children with special educational needs (SEN) still need support after youngsters have moved on to education. Last Monday, Waveney Valley MP Adrian Ramsay attended a SEN parents’ coffee morning at Eye Bowls Club, where families spoke openly about the challenges they continue to face navigating a system they say is failing too many children. Just because our children are now at school doesn’t mean parents no longer need help.”Waveney Valley MP Adrian heard from SEN parents at a special coffee morning held at Eye Bowls Club. “It was incredibly powerful to speak to parents of current and former children who have used Eye Opportunitiy group. Organisers hope the visit will help shine a light on the ongoing struggles faced by SEN families long after early years support ends.
