20 Penn State breezed past visiting Cornell 90-59 on Sunday. Following the foul, Watkins hit a jumper, Jones followed with a 3-pointer and the Penn State lead was 29-14. After an empty offensive possession by the Big Red, Watkins finished an alley-oop dunk and Stevens drove the length of the court for a 33-14 advantage. Cornell later missed three straight shots and Penn State moved further ahead 61-36 following a three-point play by Brockington. Jones eventually hit a 3-pointer to cap a 8-0 spurt and the Penn State advantage was suddenly 70-38 with 9:24 left.
