The 10th ranked priority - irrigation and water storage - involved more irrigation takes, more dams and manipulation of wild rivers and aquifers. She said improving water quality should be a priority in its own right. Organics New Zealand chairman Doug Voss said it was "disappointing" to see the weighting given to organics by the agribusiness leaders. Despite the fact the public rates water quality as New Zealand's number one environmental issue, the agribusiness community does not accord it a priority in its own right in the latest KPMG Agribusiness Agenda.
