A watchman was killed instantly after a trailer he was sleeping under, ran over him at Longonot trading center, Naivasha. Sammy Kiragu, a resident, said they heard of reports that the guard was drunk when he sought to shelter under the vehicle that killed him. The driver did not check what was underneath the vehicle and ran over the night guard," he said. Kiragu added that efforts to alert the driver that the watchman was sleeping under the vehicle fell on deaf ears. This was just but a very unfortunate incident," he said.
