Russian artistic swimmer Kristina Makushenko is making a big splash with her underwater routines. “The initiative to take me to swimming lessons initially came from my grandmother. “After swimming for six months, I was selected to represent my swimming club in a competition at which I won four gold medals. Kristina started sharing her dance videos on Instagram and TikTok during the pandemic and says the reaction and support have been unbelievable. “I would also love to own a synchronised swimming club, where I would give lessons to children,” she says.
