Zack Kassian set a career high with his 15th goal in the 8-4 win over LA, on Tuesday night at Rogers Place playing on the high octane first line. He’s found a home on the right side with Connor McDavid and Draisaitl and has seven goals in his past 13 games. He had two goals up until Jan. 1, playing on a fourth line, killing penalties and banging bodies but while people can say he’s feeding off McDavid and Draisaitl, he’s proven he can play with them and also still drop the mitts as he did with Kyle Clifford in the LA game. – with files from Jim Matheson
