A video that has gone viral shows a group of youngsters attempting to drown a policeman. The incident reportedly took place in Kalyan, Maharashtra, and the man seen in the video is named Nitin Dogade, reported NDTV. In the video, when Dogade comes out of the pond, he’s attacked by three more individuals. On 30 March 2016, Devendra Fadnavis had told the state assembly that a total of 202 cases had been registered for attacks on policeman in 2014. In 2015, the number of such crimes was 284," said chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, in a written reply.
