Canterbury captain Cole McConchie has taken one of the strangest and luckiest dismissals of the summer during New Zealand A's match against India A at Hagley Oval. The off-spinner dismissed Hanuma Vihari on Thursday when the Indian batsman played a full blooded sweep shot into Rachin Ravindra's shin at short leg. The ball then ricocheted off Ravindra and into the gloves of diving wicket-keeper Dane Cleever. The ball was hit at such pace Ravindra appeared to be in some pain after the catch was taken. The dismissal was one of three for McConchie as New Zealand A bowled India A out for 216 in the 55th over.
