India Today magazine was distributed at BJP parliamentary meeting in Delhi. In the special edition of the magazine on January 9, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the newsmaker of the year. BJP leaders cited the story on modest means of Modi family. It also had a story on 22 family members of Akhilesh Yadav receiving tickets while the family of Modi still lives in penury. The PM had also taken time off his hectic schedule to have a candid interaction with India Today Group Editorial Director Raj Chengappa on the burning issue of demonetisation.
