More than a dozen people helped Palm Bay police officers rescue a man trapped inside a burning SUV after an accident. The SUV ploughed into an embankment by the side of the raod, after crashing into another vehicle, and burst into flames. Bystanders sprung into action, some running to a hotel across the street to get a fire extinguisher while others formed a human chain from the road to the vehicle, reports Wesh. Two Palm Bay police officers rushed to the spot, and tried to pull the trapped driver out of the burning vehicle. The rescued man was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to be okay.
