Watch: Boeing 777 makes landing at tiny Canadian airportIt's safe to say the sight of a Boeing 777 isn't a regular occurrence for folks at the tiny Canadian airport of Iqaluit. Nestled in the Nunavut region of Northern Canada, Iqaluit only has one runway and usually receives aircraft holding no more than 15 passengers. But on Wednesday (Thursday NZT) a Swiss Boeing 777-300ER, which carries 340 passengers, made a precautionary landing at the snowy airport. BRIAN TATTUINEE Swiss flight was travelling from Zurich to Los Angeles. The flight crew decided to land at the Northern Canadian airport and avid plane spotter, Brian Tattuinee, filmed the airplane landing, after hearing about the diversion on social media.
