The Washington Wizards suffered a 115-109 loss to the New York Knicks on Friday, showcasing their big issue in their attempt to climb the Eastern Conference standings: the inability to depend on their offense alone. In all of the game, the offense was good, recording a season-high 19 three-pointers and 25 assists on 39 buckets. Despite four of the starters and two players from the bench achieving double figures in the score, Washington couldn’t secure the victory. With 17 total turnovers, the Wizards thus allowed the Knicks to score 23 points from it. It was ultimately their reliance on their offense along with the different issues outlined above which resulted in the Wizards’ losing the match.
