She is also a member of the travel and tourism industry and an ambassador for the African Tourism Board (ATB) in Cameroon. Maricar Donato, area representative, and coordinator of the World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations has been spearheading the effort to help out our fellow guide. Alushca Ritchie qualified as a tourist guide for the Western Cape of South Africa in 2010. She is involved with a personal initiative called Cape Tourist Guide Connection and assists with the South African Tourism Services Association Secretariat.
