Washington Apple Week comes to CentralMr Fryhover displays some of the juicy produce from his state. Central Food Hall is launching its Global Washington Apple Week in collaboration with the US Department of Agriculture to promote apples grown in the US state during this year's season. The Washington Apple Commission partnered with the Agricultural Affairs Department of the US Embassy in Thailand, organising the roadshow for Washington apple growers who will travel to 14 countries on a storytelling tour to promote their apples. Washington apples get water from the Columbia River that flows through the mountains, making it rich in useful minerals. Supavadee Nimmanakait, head of produce buying at Central Food Retail Group, said Global Washington Apple Week at Central Food Hall runs from Nov 29 to Dec 8 at Central Chidlom.
