Waseem Akram, Waqar Younis to be conferred with Civil Awards
Pakistan president Arif Alvi will present awards to the listed names on MarchKARACHI : The Government of Pakistan has issued a list of 127 names for the Civil Awards. Two national captains, Waseem Akram and Waqar Younis including three cricketers have also successfully secured a nomination. Fast bowling legends, Waseem Akram and Waqar Younis will be awarded with the prestigious, Hilal Imtiaz award while the leg spinner, Yasir Shah will be awarded with Sitara Imtiaz. The international wrestler, Inam Butt in recognition of his international successes will be awarded with prestigious Presidential Award for Pride of Performance.
