The New York Times just normalized Nazi sympathizers. Perhaps the intent of the article was to shine a light on the face of hatred. But you used a soft-focus light that made him out to be just another guy — albeit with some “alt” political views. Nazi sympathizers are supposed to be reviled and ostracized, not humanized and normalized.
