Warriors coach Stephen Kearney wasn't over critical, but knew his team could have played better at the back end of their defeat to the Rabbitohs. "I couldn't fault the effort, I just thought that we weren't real smart at the back end of the second half," Kearney said. The Warriors had to adapt quickly to their new lineup and while Hiku and Beale played well, they missed Green's leadership. "I thought he did pretty good, he had Sam [Burgess] running at him all day and for the most part he managed pretty well," he said. "But it was good progress for him, he played his first game last week and today he was pretty good again.
