The International Crimes Tribunal has issued an arrest warrant against former BNP lawmaker of Bogra Abdul Momin Talukder Khoka on war crimes charges. He said that the prayer for arrest warrant was lodged for the sake of proper investigation as the former lawmaker and his family was influential in the Adamdighi-Dupchachiya area. Abdul Momin Talukder was elected lawmaker from Bogra 3 constituency two times. The war crimes case was filed against him in March 2011 by a freedom fighter of Kayetpara village with a local court. The case statement said that Momin Talukder’s father was the chairman of local peace committee in 1971.
