Police say a man has been given a warning after aiming an air rifle towards a passing patrol car in Dunedin. Senior Sergeant Craig Dinnissen said a 21-year-old man was spotted aiming the rifle towards the police car in Clyde St at 1.30am on Friday. The man denied pointing the weapon at the car and claimed he was placing it in a bag. He was given a warning and prevention advice.
