Temperatures will rise slightly over Guangdong during the Christmas holidays, according to the Hong Kong Observatory. A dry winter monsoon will continue to affect Guangdong tomorrow, bringing sunny periods and a rather cool morning over inland areas. Under the influence of a broad band of clouds, there will be a few rain patches over the south China coast midweek this week on Christmas Eve. With the monsoon moderating, temperatures will rise slightly over the region during the Christmas holidays to around 19 degrees. A fresh easterly airstream is expected to affect the coast of Guangdong early next week.
