WARGRAVE progressed to the next round of the Thames Valley Premier League Cup after running out 4-1 winners at ROTHERFIELD UNITED last Saturday. Rotherfield started the game strongly with the wind behind them and took the lead through Harry Green finishing from close range. Joe Wigmore gave Wargrave the lead with a long-range free kick and a strong assist from the wind. In the last 10 minutes, Wargrave scored two goals through Cam Pritchard and Fred Kirby. With half-time approaching Woodcote shot themselves in the foot by trying to play out from the back.
