Ward reps to grill Taita-Taveta CEC over stalled stadiumMembers of the assembly have summoned a county executive committee (CEC) to explain why a multi-million shilling stadium project in Voi town has stalled.Youth and Sports executive Bigvai Mwailemi and his senior staff members are expected to appear before the assembly's Sports committee for grilling over the project. The executive is required to explain the circumstances that led to the stalling last year of the more than Sh94 million project. The CEC failed to appear before the committee on Thursday last week to shed light on the project. Only County Chief Executive Silvanas Mwakoma and Eliud Wachira, the contractor, appeared before the committee. As a result, the MCAs turned him away and issued fresh summons to him and the CEC.
