PHOTO: FILEPrime Minister Imran Khan on Monday appointed Dr Waqar Masood Khan as his Special Assistant on Revenue as the premier sought to focus more on the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). Without the portfolio of revenue, the finance aide is considered handicapped. Dr Waqar Masood Khan has also the expertise to deal with international financial institutions, particularly the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The government was joyous about recent achievement of the revenue target by the FBR.
