President William Ruto has called out the Opposition for organising anti-government demonstrations over the high cost of living. In his statement on Saturday, Ruto said the Azimio side now knows better than to hold demonstrations. That is nice, we have no problem, as long as properties are not destroyed we have no problem," Ruto said. Raila said the defiance will include refusal to pay taxes whose aim is to push Ruto out of office. Azimio will on July 7 hold a rally at Kamukunji to unveil nationwide civil disobedience.
