A man who was reportedly bitten by a rat at Walt Disney World has filed a lawsuit against the theme park, seeking more than $15,000 in damages. Galen Haldeman, then 59, and his wife, Carol, were visiting Magic Kingdom in April 2014 when the incident occurred. Haldeman claims he was bitten by the rat as he and his wheelchair-bound wife exited the Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin in Tomorrowland. During that trip Haldeman was reportedly bitten by a rat that had jumped on his wife's wheelchairAccording to the lawsuit, filed against Walt Disney Parks and Resorts on March 19, a large rat ran into the merchandise store near the ride when Haldeman (left) was bit. 'Just as the rat was about to bite into Carol's arm, Galen grabbed the rat and yanked it off the chair,' the lawsuit said.
