Citigroup stock lost 4 percent and Goldman Sachs shares fell 3 percent. The Shanghai composite index added 0.6 percent in China. The holding company’s stock added 2.5 percent. Coca-Cola stock added 1.1 percent and shares of Walgreens Boots Alliance rose 1.1 percent. Bank shares took the largest losses, and shares of energy companies fell with the price of oil.
