The true meaning of Good Friday will be shared in Maidenhead on April 3 as Christians from several churches gather together in the Walk of Witness. Organised by Churches Together in Maidenhead, the annual symbolic event will see hundreds of worshippers gather for song, prayer and Bible readings as they mark one of the most important days in Christian faith. Setting out from Providence Place at 11am, the event will start with a welcome and an opening prayer, followed by a hymn and reading. “Different churches coming together for this event is a pointer to our shared faith in Jesus Christ. “Christians from different backgrounds share in the same salvation and everlasting life that Jesus has won for us in his death and resurrection.”Everyone is welcome to join in the Walk of Witness.
