CAIRO, 23 November 2020: Walid Soliman, Al-Ahly winger, announced that he and his son, Selim, were tested positive for COVID-19. Walid wrote: "Praise be to God before and after, Selim and I are positive Corona, your prayers." Al-Ahly revealed, on their official website, that Walid Soliman had undergone a new medical swab on, Sunday. Walid Soliman participated in Al-Ahly's victory over Abu Qir Fertilizers in the quarter-finals of the Egypt Cup, and led the team to the semi-finals by scoring two goals. Many are considering the match as the African Match of the Century.
