The convenience store at 3130 Langston Blvd is on track to be replaced with a 12-story tower with retail on the ground floor and apartments above. Prescription files at the Walgreens will be transferred to the CVS Pharmacy across the street, at 3133 Langston Blvd, a sign posted outside the drug store says. “It is never an easy decision to close a store,” Walgreens spokesperson Jennifer Cotto told ARLnow. Many items at the Walgreens were on clearance and several shelves were emptying out when ARLnow visited earlier this week.
