Disappointed shoppers took to social media to complain over the weekend after discovering their online orders had been amended without warning. One shopper said he was sent a box of stuffing instead of a turkey by Britain’s biggest grocer, Tesco. Grandmother Christine Vincent, 63, logged on to amend her Asda food delivery order on Saturday morning, when she discovered her turkey order had been removed without notice. “Due to a technical error a small number of customers didn’t receive their turkey as planned in their online order this weekend,” a statement said. Reader Michelle Hammond said her vulnerable mother’s online Tesco order was amended without warning.
