A Nairobi court has directed a graft case against former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu to proceed with hearing despite his health condition. Magistrate Thomas Nzioki said Waititu’s case will proceed to full hearing as they wait for the results which the prosecution said will be out this Friday. DPP through state counsel Joseph Riungu told the court that three doctors examined Waititu but test results will be out on Friday. The directive comes after prosecutors Gitinga Riungu and Victor Mule picked holes in medical reports presented by Waititu from a hospital in Huruma. Medical reports are supposed to be done and presented before the court.
