The governor called upon Mr Thang’wa to address the church after the MCA was left out of the lineup of politicians who had been called to speak. “I appreciate the aspiring senator Karungo wa Thang’wa and ask him to wave at the congregation,” he said while signalling Mr Thang’wa to step forward. Mr Thang’wa stepped forward, exchanged pleasantries with Mr Kabogo and his first remarks were: “Things have changed if you see him (Kabogo) giving me a minute to address you.”
