A waiter at an Indian restaurant was applauded by customers after saving a young man’s life with the Heimlich manoeuvre. He brought the man out from his table and successfully performed the Heimlich manoeuvre, leaving the patron “very grateful”. He told the PA news agency: “I was looking around the restaurant – are the customers OK or not? “I was going back to the till… I noticed something really very wrong with Jake (the customer). I never dreamed in my life that I’m going to be in the news.
