It's been 20 years since the Waikato Greyhound Racing Club started using the Cambridge Raceway, and celebrations were held on Thursday. "There has been a big change within Greyhound Racing New Zealand about the levels of animal welfare," said Bartlett. This year's winner of Greyhound of the Year was Timmy Trumpet, trained by Tirau's Karen Walsh.
